Start of Our Physical Contribution to our Community 2009-10

Under the guidance of Rotarian Roddy Shanks the Club have become involved with some enviromental clean up work at our local Calderglen park assisting the Park rangers with some tidying up of the local area. Below is the evidence of members of the club working.
We started this project 2007 and it looks as if it will be ongoing over the summer months each year, hopefully this year 2009 there will be others from the community inspired to join us in the picture we see  Rotatrians    and Roddy Shanks, Ben Miloudi, Frank Mcluskey, George McGraw and Preident Ray Porrelli whilst on this visit to Calderglen park we planted a tree and placed a commemorative plaque to the year of Biodiversity in the name of Rotary's commitment to this project.
